Why We Built This: The Heart Behind Heavenly Network

Every ministry starts with a calling. Here's the story and the scripture behind the vision that became Heavenly Network.

Ministry rarely begins with a business plan. It begins with a burden.

The burden behind Heavenly Network is a simple one: the internet is a place where billions of people spend enormous amounts of their lives, and it deserves more spaces that are genuinely good, genuinely true, and genuinely oriented toward the Kingdom of God.

That is not an indictment of everything online. There is much that is wonderful. But we believe there is room — and need — for a family of digital spaces built from the foundation up with Christian values, Christian community, and Christian purpose.

The Scripture That Drives Us

Colossians 3:17 is the verse we return to most: "Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." Whatever you do. That includes building websites. That includes running a media property. That includes writing code, designing pages, and choosing what content to publish.

Heavenly Network is our attempt to do that faithfully — to build things on the internet that we would not be ashamed to set before the Lord. We do not claim to do it perfectly. But we commit to doing it intentionally.
